Call for priority researchers in macroeconomics

In the framework of the international Francqui Chair in Macroeconomics in Belgium (Karel Mertens), we launch this call for priority researchers - PhD /postdocs and master students(1) - in macroeconomics to submit application. Selected researchers will be supervised by Karel Mertens during his stay at the University of Namur in April/May/June 2023. They will also present their work (regular presentation or poster sessions) at the international symposium with the contribution of world class experts in macroeconomics. The symposium will take place at the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) on 8-9 May 2023.

(1) Master students who finished their thesis over the past 1-2 years are also qualified for the poster session.

Submission

The submission deadline is 9:00 pm CET on Friday 18 March 2023.

Applications should be sent to romain.houssa@unamur.be and include a paper and a CV.

Authors of accepted papers/posters will be notified by 31 March 2023. There is a limited number of places.
